CONVEX-CONCAVE PROGRAMMINGS AS A DECOMPOSITION APPROACH TO GLOBAL OPTIMIZATION LE DUNG MUU PDF61-77
▸ Abstract
We show that many problems of global optimization can be converted into convex-concave programs which can be solved by a decomposition procedure combining branch-and-bound techniques with cutting plane methods. The algorithms use adaptive rectangular and simplicial subdivisions which are not necessarily exhaustive but sufficient to guarantee convergence.

SOME NOTES ON SEMIDIFFERENTIABILITY AND GENERALIZED SUBDIFFERENTIALS PHAM HONG QUANG PDF79-90
▸ Abstract
The notion of generalized semiderivative is studied. Some necessary or sufficient conditions for $\mathcal G$-semidifferentiability, for compactness of $\mathcal C$-subdifferentials and the relationship between these notions and the others are established.

ON THE MAXIMAL MONOTONICITY OF SUBDIFFERENTIALS DINH THE LUC PDF99-106
▸ Abstract
We prove that a lower semicontinuous function from a Banach space to the extended real line is convex if and only if its subdifferential is monotone. A simple proof of the maximality of monotone subdifferentials is also given.

ON THE UNIQUENESS OF GLOBAL CLASSICAL SOLUTIONS OF THE CAUCHY PROBLEMS FOR NONLINEAR PARTIAL DIFFERENTIAL EQUATIONS OF FIRST ORDER TRAN DUC VAN, NGUYEN DUY THAI SON PDF127-136
▸ Abstract
Some uniqueness theorems for global classical solutions of the Cauchy problems for general nonlinear partial differential equations of first order are established by the method based on the theory of multivalued mappings and differential inclusions.

VARIATIONAL INEQUALITIES FOR INTEGRAND MARTINGALES AND ADDITIVE RANDOM SEQUENCES C. CASTAING, F. EZZAKI PDF137-171
▸ Abstract
New variational convergence results for lower semi-continuous integrands, reversed martingales and for lower semi-continuous additive random sequences are obtained in connections with Doob's theorem for reversed martingales as well as Birkhoff's ergodic theorem and Kingman's theorem for superadditive random sequences. Applications to the law of large numbers are given.
