  1. ON THE LAWS OF LARGE NUMBERS FOR MARTINGALE DIFFERENCES IN VON NEUMANN ALGEBRAS NGUYEN VAN QUANG, NGUYEN DUY TIEN PDF
    ▸ Abstract

The aim of this paper is to investigate Laws of Large Numbers in von Neumann algebras with emphasis on the bilateral almost uniform convergence and the convergence in measure of weighted averages of martingale differences. The stability of quadratic forms in martingale differences is also studied.

  2. ON A FREE BOUNDARY PROBLEM ARISING IN THE POLYMER INDUSTRY PHAN HUU SAN, NGUYEN DINH TRI PDF
    ▸ Abstract

A free boundary problem arising from a model for sorption of swelling solvent into glassy polymers is considered. Global existence and uniqueness of the solution are proved.

  3. A REPRESENTATION THEOREM FOR SYMMETRIC STABLE RANDOM OPERATORS DANG HUNG THANG PDF
    ▸ Abstract

In this paper, it is shown that every symmetric $p$-stable random operator has a representation of the form of a random integral with respect to an $p$-stable random measure. A necessary and sufficient condition is given for the existence of a representation of the form of a random series.

  4. HAMILTON CYCLES IN CUBIC $(4, n)$-METACIRCULANT GRAPHS NGO DAC TAN PDF
    ▸ Abstract

It is shown that every connected cubic $(4, n)$-metacirculant graph has a Hamilton cycle.

  5. AFFINE POLAR QUOTIENTS OF ALGEBRAIC PLANE CURVE LE VAN THANH PDF
    ▸ Abstract

The aim of this paper is to introduce the notion of ''affine polar quotients'' of algebraic plane curve and its applications for the study at infinity.

  6. SOLVING A CLASS OF OPTIMAL CONTROL PROBLEMS WHICH ARE LINEAR IN THE CONTROL VARIABLE BY THE METHOD OF ORIENTING CURVES NGUYEN DINH, HOANG XUAN PHU PDF
    ▸ Abstract

In this paper we prove that the Method of Orienting Curves given in [16] can be applied for solving a class of linear optimal control problems with state constraints.

    115-134
  7. NECESSARY OPTIMALITY CONDITIONS FOR OPTIMAL CONTROL PROBLEMS GOVERNED BY HEMIVARIATIONAL INEQUALITIES DO VAN LUU PDF
    ▸ Abstract

In the present paper an optimal control problem governed by hemivariational inequalities together with its modified one is investigated and several necessary conditions for optimality are established. An illustrative example is also given.

  8. PARALLEL DIRECT COLLOCATION-BASED IMPLICIT RUNGE-KUTTA-NYSTRÖM METHODS WITH HIGH STABILITY NGUYEN HUU CONG PDF
    ▸ Abstract

In this paper, we study parallel iteration of predictor-corrector methods (parallel PC methods) with direct collocation-based implicit Runge-Kutta-Nyström-order ordinary differential equations (ODEs) on parallel computers. The parallel methods were constructed in order to achieve high stability. We will show that they are rather efficient for solving stiff initial-value problems.
