Hợp tác đào tạo với ENS-Lyon

The partnership involves the Institute of Mathematics Hanoi of the Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology on one side and the Computer Science Departement of ENS de Lyon and its laboratory, named LIP, on the other side. It aims at developping joint research and teaching actions on the common activities of the two institutions. In particular, this includes the organisation of conferences and schools related to these activities as well as exchanges of researchers, graduate and postgraduate students.

The partnership is funded by ENS de Lyon, the Institute of Mathematics Hanoï, the CMIRA program of Région Rhône-Alpes, labex MILyon, CNRS and INRIA. It also receives the participation and support of other research and teaching institutions in France and in Vietnam: Université Claude Bernard Lyon 1, Hanoi University of Science and Technology and Vietnam National University of Hanoi, Vietnam Institute for Advanced Study in Mathematics.

Hội nghị đánh giá kết quả làm việc của nghiên cứu sinh

Ngày 30/10/2014, Viện Toán học tổ chức Hội nghị đánh giá kết quả làm việc của nghiên cứu sinh

Mục đích của Hội nghị: kiểm tra, đánh giá kết quả làm việc của từng nghiên cứu sinh, từ đó có những quyết định cụ thể cho từng nghiên cứu sinh và tập thể hướng dẫn, có những điều chỉnh cần thiết trong các biện pháp nhằm tiếp tục nâng cao chất lượng đào tạo nghiên cứu sinh. Hội nghị đánh giá kết quả làm việc của nghiên cứu sinh được tổ chức hàng năm là động lực quan trọng giúp các nghiên cứu sinh và các tập thể hướng dẫn đẩy mạnh hơn nữa tiến độ làm việc để hoàn thành công việc đúng thời hạn.

Tại hội nghị, có 2 nghiên cứu sinh:

được chọn trình bày báo cáo điển hình

Có 19 NCS đăng ký trình bày báo cáo kết quả làm việc kết quả làm việc.

Viện Toán học được Nhà nước giao nhiệm vụ đào tạo nghiên cứu sinh từ năm 1979. Cho đến nay, Viện đã tuyển được 35 khóa nghiên cứu sinh. Đã đào tạo được 153 Tiến sĩ và 7 Tiến sĩ khoa học.

Hiện nay, Viện đang đào tạo 33 NCS, trong đó có 3 NCS theo Đề án 911, 4 NCS đã bảo vệ thành công Luận án Tiến sĩ ở Hội đồng cấp phòng.

Call for applications IMU-Simons Foundation Travel

IMU-Simons Travel Fellowship Program supports collaborative research visits of mathematicians working in the developing world to a center of excellence in any part of the world for collaborative research in mathematics.

This grant will support mathematicians working in a developing or economically disadvantaged country (as determined by the IMU-CDC) to travel to a center of excellence in any part of the world for collaborative research (in mathematics).

In exceptional cases, the funds can also be used by mathematicians from developed countries to visit centers of research in developing countries to do collaborative research with mathematicians working there.

The program is administered by IMU- CDC and funded by the Simons Foundation.

Nghiên cứu sau tiến sĩ tại Berlin

The Berlin Mathematical School (BMS) invites applications for the Dirichlet Postdoc Fellowship starting in the fall of 2015. This two-year position is open to promising young mathematicians who will have completed their PhD degree by 30 September 2015 and want to pursue their own research in one of the seven research fields of mathematics offered by the Berlin Mathematical School. The competitive full-year salary includes health insurance. Fellows are expected to teach one course per semester, typically in English at graduate level. Applications from all well-qualified individuals, especially women, are highly encouraged.

Completed applications are due by 1 December 2014, and should be submitted online at the BMS website:

The Berlin Mathematical School (BMS) is a joint graduate school of the mathematics departments of the three major Berlin universities: Freie Universität (FU), Humboldt-Universität (HU) and Technische Universität (TU).
