Hiện nay Thư viện Viện Toán học có một số bản dư của một số tạp chí toán học và tất cả các số của Math. Reviews và Current Math. Publication (Xin xem danh sách kèm theo). Thư viện Viện Toán học sẽ tặng lại các tài liệu này cho các cơ quan có nhu cầu sử dụng/bổ sung cho thư viện của mình. Các thư viện và cơ quan có nhu cầu nhận các tài liệu này có thể đăng ký với Thư viện của Viện Toán học theo thông tin

Trong đăng ký đề nghị ghi rõ đăng ký nhận các tạp chí nào, những năm nào. Ngoài ra đề nghị thông báo rõ thời gian nhận và cách vận chuyển các tạp chí trên.

Lưu ý: chúng tôi chỉ nhận đăng ký của các cơ quan, không nhận đăng ký của cá nhân.

The 6th Heidelberg Laureate Forum (HLF), see

will take place in Heidelberg, Germany during September 23 – 28, 2018.
At HLF all winners of the Fields Medal, the Abel Prize, the ACM A.M. Turing  Award, the Nevanlinna Prize, and the ACM Prize in Computing are invited to attend. In addition, young and talented computer scientists and mathematicians are invited to apply for participation. The previous HLFs have been an exceptional success. The HLF serves as a great platform for interaction between the masters in the fields of mathematics and computer science and young talents.
Applications for participation at the 6th HLF are open in three categories:
Undergraduates, PhD Candidates, and PostDocs. See the webpage

for the online application and further information. The IMU Adhering Organizations and national mathematical societies can nominate young researchers.
Nominated persons get “priority treatment”, but, since there may be too many  nominations, they have no acceptance guarantee. During the nomination process  you will be asked for an Org-ID, which is IMU38526 for the IMU. The deadline for application is February 9, 2018.
IMU asks its Adhering Organizations to distribute this information among their  national mathematical communities, if possible through the newsletters of the national mathematical societies.
The HLF was initiated by the late German entrepreneur Klaus Tschira, and is supported by the Klaus Tschira Foundation, The Norwegian Academy of Science and Letters, The Association for Computing Machinery, as well as The International
Mathematical Union.

Viện Toán học tổ chức Lễ tổng kết năm học 2016-2017 và Liên hoan kỷ niệm ngày Nhà giáo Việt Nam 20-11, với các nội dung sau:

•  Tổng kết công tác đào tạo năm 2016-2017;
•  Phát bằng Tiến sĩ cho các tân Tiến sĩ;
•  Phát bằng Thạc sĩ cho các tân Thạc sĩ (học viên cao học Khoá 22, 2014-2016)- chương trình phối hợp đào tạo giữa Đại học Thái Nguyên và Viện Toán học, Viện Hàn lâm Khoa học và Công nghệ Việt Nam;
• Phát phần thưởng cho nghiên cứu sinh đạt thành tích tốt;
• Gặp gỡ, chúc mừng, liên hoan nhân ngày 20-11.

The Berlin Mathematical School is the joint graduate school of the mathematics departments at the three major universities in Berlin: Freie Universität, Humboldt-Universität and Technische Universität.

Main research areas are:

•   Differential geometry, global analysis and mathematical physics
•   Algebraic and arithmetic geometry, number theory
•   Probability, statistics and financial mathematics
•   Discrete mathematics and combinatorial optimization
•   Geometry, topology and visualization
•   Numerical analysis and scientific computing
•   Applied analysis and differential equations

The graduate program starts with three to four semesters of course work (Phase I) leading to a master's degree. This is followed by four to six semesters of thesis research (Phase II) leading to a doctoral degree at one of the three universities.
Students who will have completed their bachelor's degree by October 2018 can apply to Phase I; those who will have completed their master's degree by this date can apply to start directly in Phase II.
