Firstly we show that, under some conditions, the zero set of derivation of f w.r.t. the variable xn can be considered as a testing set for existence of the global Lojasiewicz inequality. Then, in assuming that f is a polynomial in two variables, we give an algorithm for verifying the existence of the global Lojasiewicz inequality for f. Moreover, the Lojasiewicz exponents are computed explicitly via the Puiseux series at infinity. This result is a joint work with Dang Van Doat. |
