Abstract: We consider the group of local tropical cycles in the local tropicalization of the local analytic ring of a toric variety, in particular, Cartier divisors defined by a function germ. We see a formula for the multiplicity, a result which is motivated by a classical theorem of Wagreich for normal surface singularities.
