On the Thomas Royen's simple proof of Gaussian correlation conjecture

Tóm tắt: Gaussian correlation conjecture (theorem now) is a very famous problem of probability theory which is closely related to convex geometry. In 2014, a very simple proof was given by Thomas Royen. In this talk, we will present his proof in detail and discuss some open related questions.
