Tóm tắt: It is well-known that the companion matrix is a solution of the defining polynomial. We use this result to develop the classical theory of algebraic field extensions, showing the existence of algebraic closures of fields in the endomorphism rings of appropriate infinite dimensional vector spaces, constructing finite fields and irreducible algebraic curves (of one variable)
