Abstract: My talk is a joint work with M. Siddoway. I present a new approach to Leavitt path algebras by using flat rings of quotients with respect to a well-defined flat Gabriel topology. The treatment is inspired by a work of Rosset - Rosenmann on finite codimensional (fc-) localizations of free associative algebras.
