Thời gian: 9h30 Thứ 5, 29/10/2015 Địa điểm: Phòng 201, Nhà A5, Viện Toán học, 18 Hoàng Quốc Việt, Cầu Giấy Hà Nội Tóm tắt: In this seminar, I will present some models and tools from probability theory used to study the performance of telecommunication networks. First, a short introduction to Palm calculus and stochastic geometry will be presented. It corresponds to the mathematical tools that I teach in the Institute of Mathematics. It will be followed by a subset of recent problems in computer science (and more precisely in networking) that we have addressed . For these issues, I will highlight the links between networking/technological aspects and the different mathematical tools and models.
