Tóm tắt: After a brief introduction to Kodaira-Spencer deformation theory, I will describe the deformation theory of toric affine varieties in terms of their combinatorial data, as formulated by Klaus Altmann. I will next mention a joint work with Ronan J.Conlon, where we have so far provided infinitely many new examples of Calabi-Yau manifolds asymptotic to toric Calabi-Yau affine varieties, using Conlon-Hein’s classification and Altmann deformation theory. The technical terms will be explained during the talk.
