Abstract: In this talk, we provide an analogue of Benjamin Steinberg's Equivalence Theorem, showing the equivalence between the category of unitary modules over the Steinberg algebra A_T(G) of an ample groupoid G over the tropical semifield T and the category of sheaves of T-modules over G. Then, we prove that every primitive ideal of A_T(G) is the kernel of an induced irreducible representation from an isotropy group of G. Consequently, Exel's Effros-Hahn conjecture holds for Steinberg algebras over the tropical semifield. |
