Abstract: The purpose of this talk is to introduce the notion of the Kahler differential in commutative algebra and scheme theory which serves as an algebro geometric analogue of the holomorphic forms or differential forms in complex geometry and differential geometry, respectively. In this talk, I also represent the sheaf of holomorphic forms on complex manifolds along with several classic results in both fields of algebraic geometry and complex geometry such as Serre duality and Kodaira vanishing theorem. The talk is designed in the language that is accessible to anyone who has prerequisites in basic module theory and complex analysis. |
