Abstract: In regression models, when there are categorical (qualitative) descriptive variables, those categorical must be recoded into several dummy variables taking only two values 0 and 1. The recoding should be made appropriately and accordingly to the natural feature of each categorical variable,  based of given knowledge from related scientific field. Only by this way, a statistician can interpret obtained regression results in meaningful manner.
