Tóm tắt: Consider images of aircrafts that are vertical in 2D. Using Liu, Wu, and Hong‘s method, we propose a novel air-craft type recognition algorithm based on the aircrafts’ orthogonal convex hull features and Support Vector Machine (SVM). The aircrafts’ external contours while removing the background and then the planar orthogonal convex hulls of the external contours are determined. Based on the orthogonal convex hulls, we combine the characteristics unique to the aircraft object, to introduce some characters. Finally, we use the SVM to perform the classification. Some experiment results are given.
