Abstract: This is a on going work with Le Xuan Dung (Hong Duc University) and J. Elias (Barcelona). In this talk, two new bounds for the Hilbert coefficients $e_1,\ e_2$ of an $m$-primary ideal in a local Cohen-Macaulay ring $(A,m)$ in terms of $e_0$ and the order of the ideal are presented. We also give characterization for the bounds to be attained. |
