Abstract: The contact process is one of the most studied interacting particle systems and is also often interpreted as a model describing how a virus  spreads  in a network. In this talk, we will study the metastability for the contact process on some models of complex networks such as: the configuration model, preferential attachment graph and random geometric graph.
