Tóm tắt: Recall that the "lifting question for curve" asks whether one can lift a curve with automorphism in characteristic p to characteristic 0. This talk discusses how the lifting is equivalent to extending a certain vector bundle with connection on an annulus to the whole projective plane. We follow Kedlaya's lecture at the "Lifting Problems and Galois Theory" workshop.
