Abstract: In this talk, I would like to introduce the higher seant varieties of a given variety and elementary properties of defining equations with a viewpoint of K_{p,q} theorem. Note that K_{p,1} theorem due to Mark Green is a fundamental theorem in studying geometry and syzygy in the quadratic world. Many interesting questions are also introduced in the cubic world.
