Abstract: Let G be a finite subgroup of SL(3,C). The quotient singularity C^3/G is Gorenstein and admits a crepant resolution. We will describe such a crepant resolution in terms of the McKay quiver, which is constructed from the group representations and leads to the McKay correspondence. We begin with the classical McKay correspondence in dimension two and then discuss its generalization in this talk. Part of this work is joint with K. Sato and Y. Sato. |
