Abstract:
The problem of extending holomorphic functions (more generally sections of holomorphic vector bundles) often plays an important role in the theory of several complex variables. In this talk, after I review some well-known extension theorems (for example, Ohsawa-Takegoshi L^2 extension theorem, several vanishing theorems, and so no), I will give a recent result based on the so-called injectivity theorem. Further I will explain a relation among extension problems and applications to higher dimensional algebraic geometry, if time permits.
