Abstract: In the first talk, we shall give a brief introduction to geometric motivic integration and some applications to Kontsevich-Soibelman’s theory of motivic Donaldson-Thomas invariants. Among important things, the integral identity conjecture is the most crucial for the existence of these invariants. A sketch of proof of the conjecture will be the main objective of the second talk. We suppose the ground field to be algebraically closed and work on Hrushovski-Kazhdan’s point of view concerning motivic integration to obtain such a proof. |
