Syzygies of Powers of Homogeneous Ideals

Abstract:  Let $R$ be a Noetherian standard graded algebra over an Artinian local ring. For a homogeneous ideal $I$ of $R$ and a finitely generated graded $R$-module $M$, the Hilbert coefficients $e_i(I^nM)$, $e_i(M/I^nM)$ and $e_j(\syz_i(I^nM))$ are polynomials for $n\gg 0$. The linearly asymptotic behavior of $\reg_R(I^nM)$ is also studied.
