From Hochschild and Lie algebra cohomology to Quillen cohomology

Abstract: We first review several classical cohomology theories, including Hochschild and Lie algebra cohomology, and describe their relation to Quillen cohomology. We then outline how these results can be extended to the differential graded setting from an operad-theoretic perspective.
