Tóm tắt: One finds in the literature various ``quadratic identities'' between values of classical functions of one complex variable, like the gamma function, the hypergeometric functions, the Bessel functions, etc. I will explain the geometry behind these identities and their consequences for periods and exponential periods in the sense of Kontsevich and Zagier.
