IMH-SEAMS school 2018 "Hyperplane Arrangements"

The school will study hyperplane arrangements using classical tools from topology, geometry, algebra and combinatorics. The main focus will be on the topology of the complement of a complex hyperplane arrangement. The four courses will be run in parallel. Two courses Introduction to Homotopy Theory and Representation Theory will introdce students with neccesary tools. Then the rest two courses will introduce the combinatorial study of hyperplane arrangements as well as the fundamental group of the complement of a hyperplane arrangement.

These courses are addressed to advanced undergraduate students, graduate students and young researchers from South East Asian countries. There are also tutorial sessions.
