A SUBCLASSIFICATION OF UNIMODAL DISTRIBUTIONS

Abstract

We introduce and study classes $\mathcal P_{\alpha}$,  $\alpha > 0$, of $\alpha$-times unimodal distributions. Various characterizations of these distributions are obtained and relations between them and fractional calculus are established.
