The Isomorphism Problem for a Family of One-Relator Groups

Abstract

In this paper, we use the Alexander ideals of groups to solve the isomorphism problem for a family of groups $G(m, n, p)$ which coincide with the Baumslag-Solitar groups when $p = 1$.
