A Class of Alternating Group Explicit Finite
Difference Method for Diffusion Equation

Abstract. In this paper, we first present a
group of asymmetric finite difference schemes to approach diffusion
equation. Based on the schemes a class of alternating group explicit finite
difference method is derived. The scheme is verified to be unconditionally
stable, and can be used for parallel computation. Results of the numerical
experiments show that the method is of high accuracy.
