Tóm tắtt: A nonlinear shell model is a system of partial differential equations whose solution predicts the deformation of a nonlinear elastic shell in response to applied forces and boundary conditions. In this talk, we will give a brief introduction to the nonlinear shell model of Koiter and the nonlinear shell model of Budiansky-Sanders. More specifically, we will focus mainly on the most up-to-date existence theorems for these two models. Finally, we will also state some open questions
