Abstract: The aim of this talk is to introduce the result of Ukai on an explicit solution to the Stokes equation, which is expressed in terms of the Riesz operators and the solution operators for the heat and Laplace equations in $\mathbb R_+^n$. This solution provides a simpler and different form from that of Solonikov (1968).
