On the duality between H1 and BMO

Abstract: A famous result of Charles Fefferman (Acta Math. 129 (1972), no. 3-4, 137-193) showed that the space of functions with bounded mean oscillations (BMO), introduced by  Fritz John and Louis Nirenberg (Comm. Pure Appl. Math. 14 (1961), 415-426),  was in fact the dual of real Hardy space H1 introduced and studied by Elias Stein and Guido Weiss (Acta Math. 103 (1960), 25-62). In this talk, we will present some recent results about the duality H1-BMO.
