Jointly organized by Dynamical Systems Group at Deparment of Mathematics, Imperial College London & Institute of Mathematics-VAST, a workshop on "Modelling challenges in a changing climate and environment" is organized in Hanoi from 17 March-28 March 2025.
The program consists of two parts. In the first week (17 March - 21 March 2025), there are lectures series:
Lecture 1: Bifurcation theory & Critical transition
Lecturers: Prof. Ale Jan Homburg - University of Amsterdam, Prof Jeroen S.W. Lamb - Imperial College London and Dr. Wei Hao Tey, Imperial College London
Lecture 2: Machine learning & Learning models
Lecturers: Dr. Kevin Webster - Imperial College London & Prof. Pham Quy Muoi - Danang University of Education.
The second week (25 March - 27 March 2025) of the program is an intensive workshop on the topic of Modelling challenges in a changing climate and environment.
